STUDENT: I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to all policies and responsibilities including attendance, fees, participation, and student expectations. These policies provide clear guidelines for the band and help us to operate smoothly. Furthermore, you have reviewed the calendar for the year, and understand that rehearsals and performances are mandatory activities. Should any student not follow the expectations outlined in the handbook and/or miss any rehearsal without proper notice, the Directors’ decision (including non-performance or alternate role in the ensemble) will be final and accepted by both the student and family.

Team Selection (What area of need will you commit to be an active member; select at least 1))

Volunteers: Ensures that therea re adequate volunteers for all Association activities and they have the supplies they need to support medical needs.

Meals: Ensures that there is food and beverages to support Association activities and that there are volunteers to prepare, serve, and clean up after meals

Pit Crew: Ensures the loading and safe transport of instruments, props, and other needed supplies to Association activities. Ensures the building and maintenance of props needed.

Uniforms: Assigns, distributes, and maintains marching band uniforms and concert uniforms each year. Coordinates cleaning, storage, and repairs of uniforms

Hospitality: Responsible for making sure visiting bands have what they need prior and during Association activities and coordinating special events.

Guard: Supports the Director of Guard in providing adequate chaperones and first aid coverage for guard events at practices and camps and off site events. Assists with guard uniform management (maintenance, fitting, cleaning, storage, and issuance). Assists in prop and design accessories as needed

Winter Program: Work to ensure that all needs including student supervision and transportation are met for winter guard and indoor drumline unit. WOrks with other committees to ensure consistency and accessibility of tools and equipment.

Jazz Program: Ensures that all needs in clusing student supervision and transportation are met for all Jazz activities. WOrks with other committees to ensure consistency and accessibility of tools and equipment and tools.

Photography: Responsible for coordinating photos to capture key moments during the band seasons. Also Responsible for storage, distribution, and sharing of photos.

Fundraising: Responsible for raising funds to support the activities for the Association. Includes planning of fundraising projects and submitting those to the Executuve Board Officers for approval

Sponsorship: Responsible for implementation of the annual sponsorship campaign as well as maintaining relationships with existing sponsors throughout the year. Maintains a target list of companies of existing or potential sponsors.

Spiritwear: Responsible for helping with company selection, online store, order placement, packaging and distribution and assisting with selling or distributing at events as requested by the Association

Publicity: Responsible for coordinating with the Band Directors on the maintenance of web pages and social media accounts. They post information provided by other committees important to share with the Association and/or North Gwinnett Community.
